Surprises await within the Sydney center

Planning to go to Sydney any time soon? Check out these top attractions that’s just within the city center to truly make your Sydney trip truly worthwhile:

Sydney Opera House
Of course, a trip to Sydney wouldn’t be complete without visiting the Sydney Opera House. It is one of the most iconic buildings, and one of the most famous performing arts venues in the world.

The Opera House has over 40 shows – with different genres – weekly. But if you can’t catch a show, you can always take a tour of the place. Just check out their website for tour schedule and rates.

Now if you don’t have much money, then you can still walk around the Sydney Opera House and take unlimited photos of the building.






Harbour Bridge
Speaking of the Opera House, another must-go to is the nearby Sydney Harbour Bridge. It is also one of the most photographed landmarks of Australia.

This bridge connects Sydney’s central business district and the North Shore across the Sydney Harbor. It is considered as the world’s largest steel arch bridge.

With this engineering masterpiece set on one of the most beautiful harbors in the world, it is truly worth to have your photo taken on this magnificent backdrop.



Madame Tussauds
Want to get up-close and personal with over 70 Hollywood stars, singing superstars, sports legends and politicians? Well, that’s possible – but with their wax figures, that is.

The world-famous wax museum Madame Tussauds has a branch in Aquarium Wharf, Darling Harbor. Posing with celebrities and trying out their interactive features may take 1.5 to hours.

Hyde Park
Want to take a breather within the city center? Then head on to Hyde Park. One of the features of the Park is the War Memorial. 

Located at the South area, the War Memorial is tribute to the soldiers who fell during World War 1. It is both a museum and a monument. 

Also, inside Hyde Park is a heritage-listed obelisk. This was Sydney’s first major sewer vent that was constructed. Aside from these, a large bronxe statue of Captain James Cook stands tall inside the Park.

King Street Wharf
A trip wouldn’t be complete without --- food! And one of the most highly recommended places to dine, wine and just plain chilling out is King Street Wharf. 

Get to enjoy the waterfront vibe as it is located along the harbor with lots of green spaces. King Street Wharf is also home to a wide variety of popular food and beverage establishments.
